Just a little while longer.....(part 13)

(Author's note: Hi again! I told you I would blog again! :) Um, so this blog has a major trigger warning too, just so you all know. I'm so sorry. I love you all, thank for the support. Stay Alive |-/ -Trinity) ******************************************************************************* Thursday Night         Gladys had been at the party for two hours. She was so tired of talking to strangers. They would say hello and how are you and she would return with good, how are you. This happened several times before she went and sat in a secluded corner and was promptly ignored.      Gladys was relieved she didn't have to talk, but now her mind was roaming freely and Gladys had no control. She was just telling her mind to shut up and when someone came over to her and sat down. It was a guy who had been staring at her for some time, but Gladys had ignored him. She suddenly regretted being secluded. He did not seem like a nice man. "Hey, what's your na

(Author's note: Um, so I'm sorry. If you wish to have your heart wrenched from your body, continue reading. Also major trigger warning. I am sorry. Don't read if you are sensitive. You have been warned. I love you all. Stay Alive |-/ -Trinity) ************************************************************************* Thursday     Gladys was not okay. She had made it through school yesterday, but now she wasn't even sure she could make it to her dresser. She had woken up fine but then almost immediately the dark thoughts returned. Now here she was sitting on her bed in her PJs, looking at the knife in her hands. She was tired. She couldn't remember the last time she had been happy. Worse, she thought she didn't deserve happiness. No, it was only pain for her. That's all she deserved. Gladys blinked furiously, trying not to cry. She deserved this, there would be no pity for her. She was a worthless person. She had no friends because she wasn&#

(Author's Note: Wait, Italic? Italian italic? ooohhhh i like. okay back to business. I would like to say: IM SO SORRY IM SO SORRY IM SO SORRY. okay, heh heh. thank you. -Trinity) ***********************************************************(are these italic stars?)  Wednesday      Gladys rolled over again, trying to find a comfortable position. Her clock read 2:37am. She couldn't sleep. She was kept awake by the eerie sounds outside and her mind's morbid thoughts. She had been contemplating cutting for 2 hours now. It would be so much better than feeling everything else. Gladys reached under her pillow, stroking the cold blade, adrenaline rushing through her. It was so tempting, it would feel so good. Gladys decided. Just a few cuts, then she would sleep. Gladys grabbed the knife and sat up. She told herself this was good, it was helpful. She knew it wasn't true, but when had she ever done anything right? -----------------------------------------------

Just a little while longer...(part 10)

Tuesday          Gladys pulled on the sleeves of her sweater, trying to hide the bandages on her wrists. She felt guilty for cutting, but it had helped her, she hoped. At least it had distracted her from her real pain. After all, a few cuts is a small price to pay. Gladys nodded to herself and slipped on her shoes. The bus would be coming soon.           She was waiting for the bus when it happened. She felt the urge to cut herself again. She turned the pocketknife over and over in her pocket, running her fingers over the rough handle. It would be so easy to just cut, real quick.          Before she could even decide, she heard, "Gladys! Hey!" She turned to see Josh walking up to her, Tyler right beside him. "Hey guys," she said with a grin. Gladys couldn't believe how fake she was. Another reason to cut. Josh stood next to her and ruffled his hair. "So, how are you, Gladdy?" Gladys' heart skipped a beat, he was so sweet. Sh

Monday         Gladys hadn't heard from "the boys", referring to Josh and Tyler, since Thursday. She was so worried she could hardly focus on school. She knew where they lived, not that she was a stalker, they had invited her over before, but it was a senior activity, it wasn't just her that was invited. Gladys sighed, they would never have invited just her. 'Cause they didn't like her like that, much to her disappointment.         She looked at her watch and groaned. The bus was late, again. She was gonna get detention. Oddly enough, she smiled. Tyler and Josh had made detention so much fun. But that also led her to the ext intruding thought, where were they?     When the bus finally came to a stop, Gladys stood in front of the squeaky door, ready to board the bus. As she got on, she heard someone yelling 'stop!'.      Gladys backed out of the bus and glanced towards where the sound had come from. Josh and Tyler were running to

Just a little while longer....(part 8)

Thursday          Gladys could hardly wait for the bus to arrive. She wondered if she would see Josh or Tyler, or both! Her heartbeat quickened as she hopped onto the bus and immediately scanned the seats for Josh or Tyler. Strangely they were absent. She tried to hide her disappointment when she sat next to someone else, but she was also a little worried. Were they okay? Maybe they took a different bus. Gladys took a deep breath and tried to quiet her anxious thoughts. They were okay. They had to be. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------        Josh grabbed his backpack and ran over to Tyler's house. He hadn't answered any of Josh's texts. Josh had thought nothing of it until he went to their scheduled meeting spot and he wasn't there. Tyler was never late to anything. Josh climbed the ladder as quickly as possible, cursing when he heard the bus drive down the adjacent street. They had misse

Enjoy....) ************************************************************************* Wednesday.      Gladys walked down the quiet hallways of her school and stopped outside her classroom door. She was 30 minutes late. She looked through the window and saw Tyler and Josh. Before she could move, Josh glanced at her. The teacher followed his gaze and saw Gladys. A wicked grin crossed the teacher's face. She walked over and opened the door.      "Why don't you join us, Ms Harper?" Sarcasm dripping from her crooked smile. Gladys gulped and sat down hurriedly. "Detention, Ms Harper." Gladys sighed. "Yes, Mrs Xenon." ----------------------------------------------------------------- Gladys had been in detention for less than five minutes when Josh and Tyler walked in. T

UPDATE. NOT A BLOG POST..

Hi, frens. So one of my frens on twitter just committed suicide. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I know it is very sad. I am so sorry to anyone who has ever had to go through that. I might blog later today because it helps me fight my depression and anxiety. I told you this because people need to be encouraged and loved. NEVER BE MEAN TO SOMEONE.  It can be a matter of life and death. To you: Stay Alive, it is worth it. And through this, you can help others stay alive too. Thank you. (Author's note: sorry about the last post, it was really short :( -but I promise this one will be good...by the way, would you rather I write about Gladys' story next?  Tell me in the comments, please. -Trinity)        Ryan turned out to be a good friend. He called his aunt and asked her if Beverly could stay with her, he bought her lunch and even bought her three new outfits. Beverly could hardly believe her luck. He was so nice and handsome. Ryan was perfect. Beverly found herself staring at him more and more as the day progressed, she had fallen in love.       Ryan, however, was a gentleman and didn't want anything but a friendship. So when Beverly tried to kiss him, he backed away and told her he didn't want that.       Beverly was heart-broken. She had finally found someone who treated her right and now he didn't accept her. Their relationship turned stiff after this and Beverly wanted nothing more than to run away again. Run away from all

Beverly sat on the grimy cement and cried. She was screwed. She didn't have any money or food or resources. She was too far away from home and she couldn't even go back if she wanted to. She grabbed her bag from beside her and ate the last bag of trail mix. That was it. No more after this. She savoured every last bite and when it was gone, her stomach growled in protest. She patted it and dried up her tears. Before she could even prepare herself, someone threw a bag of chips in her lap.    Beverly looked up into the eyes of a handsome man. "What was that for?" He smirked, "Well, aren't you hungry?" Beverly grimaced, "I can't take this," she said holding the bag towards him. "I'm not gonna eat it. Just take it." Beverly smiled. "Thank you. I'm Beverly." "I'm Ryan." (sorry this was so short, but its 2am right now and I'm tired, I'll write later goodnight)

(Title means: Need to Live)       Beverly gasped as she left the comfort of her home and into the icy rain. She contemplated going back inside and hugging Gladys close to her chest. To tell her everything would be okay, but she couldn't. She wasn't strong enough. Not yet.      She walked slowly towards the nearest trolley stop and dug out a few of the crisp ones she had crumpled in her pocket. She swiftly paid for the ticket and sat down on the stone cold bench.     Her heart beat wildly. She had done it. She was free. Even though she was only thirteen, she had managed to get away from her family. Her heart hurt about leaving Gladys. But she would understand. She had to.'     Her parents hadn't understood her. No one had. She needed to be understood. She needed to be loved. She hoped she would find it. Her life depended on it.     She grasped her sleeves and pulled them down, trying to hide the scars. The scars that had separated her from her fami

It was Saturday night, Gladys had actually acted upon her text and went to the party. Josh and Tyler were there when she walked in and she even got to say hi before they were whisked away by, Julia, who was hosting the party. Julia seemed to be in love with Josh more than anything and couldn't stop sneaking little glances at him.      Gladys couldn't help but get a little jealous, but before she could do anything about it, a tall girl with dyed hair walked up to her. Gladys could recognize that small nervous smile anywhere. Gladys could not breathe. She could not think.        Her head felt fuzzy and her hands went numb. In front of her stood her older sister, Beverly. The sister that had left ten years ago.  The one who had lied when she said "just a little while". The sister who had caused Gladys to have insomnia till she realized her sister was never coming back. That sister stood before her, so of course, she passed out.     Whe

(Author's note: so all my frens are heathe--want me to blog some more ;) so here I go, hope you like it Rienna, her fren, and Julia. and all the other people reading this lol.)       Gladys stood in the pouring rain with a grin plastered across her face. She was waiting for the  bus to take her home and even though she was soaked to the bone, she couldn't stop smiling. Josh and Tyler had said hi to her today. She was the happiest girl in the world. What if they liked her? What if they asked her out? Then a thought whipped across her mind like fire. Who would she say yes to? Her heart plummeted to the floor and her smile vanished. She could never pick between them. She was so doomed.      Later that night, Lindsey texted her on the group chat Gladys had with her and Sierra. L: Hey, so there's a party tomorrow night. Wanna come? S: Josh and Tyler will be there ;) G: You guys are so mean!! They don't even like me. L: But you like them? S: Duh, of co

Just a little while longer....(part 3)

For the first time in her life, Gladys woke up before her alarm clock. Well, the first time in a really long while...        She got up and unplugged her alarm clock. She wouldn't be needing it today. It was Friday. She  had two hours until she needed to be at the bus stop. She flopped back on her bed and sighed. She  couldn't stop thinking of Josh and his mysteriously handsome friend. She wondered what she  would've done if either of them had talked to her. She would probably say something stupid and be  embarrassed for the rest of her life. Why would he like her? She would only mess it up. He probably already hated her, just like everyone else. She was worthless. No one could ever love her. No one could love someone who is such a whiner. That's why Beverly had left.       Gladys threw on the first clothes she could find and ran outside. The air smelled of rain and she gladly inhaled until she could hold no more. Squeezing her eye

Just a little while longer....(part 2)

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEE-!       Gladys' fist slammed the alarm clock. The sound of plastic crunching woke Gladys up more than the alarm. She was in so much trouble if it was broken. She sat up and looked at the torturous device. It was still working. Gladys breathed a sigh of relief and placed her feet on the cold floor. Yawning widely, she got up and did her morning routine, which consisted of brushing teeth and a shower.  After she had gotten dressed in her usual apparel of a band shirt, converse, and jeans, Gladys grabbed her phone and checked her messages. Sierra had texted her six times in the last twenty minutes. Gladys rolled her eyes and opened the first one. Good Morning! How are you? Gladys? Are you awake yet? Did you snooze your alarm again? Gladys! You were supposed to be awake five minutes ago. Are you ignoring me? GLADYS.  I'm gonna keep texting you.   Gladys chuckled at the last one and answered before she got spammed. OKAY!

Just a little while longer...(part 1)

Beverly snatched her backpack from the closet under the stair and crept towards the front door. She had barely turned the nob when someone said, "Bev? What-" Beverly spun around and stared into the wide eyes of her seven-year-old sister, Gladys. "Gladys, I...I have to go away." She whispered. Gladys' eyes blinked away tears. "But why? Don't you love me?" Beverly held back tears as she reached for Gladys' hands. She held her small hands softly and marvelled at how small she was. "Gladys, don't cry. Of course, I love you, but I have to  leave. Just for a little while." she promised. Gladys nodded, "Just for a little while." she said to the floor.         Gladys felt numb while Beverly gave her a quick peck on the cheek and snuck out the door. Gladys stood there for another few minutes, almost wishing Beverly would come back in and say, 'I'm back!', but she didn't. Gladys wiped aw

JOSH DUN?

(Author's note: My friend's name is Rienna and she suggested I do a blog about the pet store employees POV, so to Rienna: I'm sorry if you don't like how I made your namesake...But, I hope you like the story anyways.....hehe)      Rienna was not having a good day. First, a puppy had gotten sick and she had to try to help it feel better. It almost broke her heart, poor puppy.      Then a customer had tried to steal a dog, during which, Rienna, ran after said person and had to call the police; which was a big ordeal and very tiring.       Rienna was just about to take her fifteen-minute break when the door was opened. Rienna looked up tiredly from the desk and managed to smile.       "Hi, welcome to Pets Store (what an awful business name?), my name is Rienna how can I help-" Rienna stopped when she saw the door open again. A man with adorable brown hair walked in.                 Rienna would've recognized him anywhere. That was Josh D

Spooky or Jim?

Josh willed his legs to move faster, trying to keep up with Debby. "Debby, wait up!" he called to her as she basically ran into a store. Not just any store, a pet store.       Josh looked at the sign that would later change his life. PET STORE. He walked into the store, the overwhelming smell of puppies and cats filling the air. He spotted Debby and sighed. She was over by the dogs. Josh walked over to her, placing his hand on the small of her back.    "Debby, what are you doing?" he asked cautiously. Debby turned to him, eyes glossy. "Look at the puppy, Josh," she said with a pouty face. Josh looked at the cute little chocolate lab.  "Yeah, he's cute." he said trying to keep her from getting excited. This was the third time this month she had brought him to a pet store. Debby looked at him and sighed. "No?" Josh shook his head, "I can't get a dog, Deb, I just can't." "Why not?"

Insomnia for the Clique

Tyler lay in bed that night, the same song still in his head. He hummed it softly, little rhymes and notes coming together like a puzzle.      Jenna sat up in bed and looked at him sleepily. "You're still awake?" Tyler nodded guiltily. "I have this song in my head, it's keeping me up." Jenna smiled knowingly. "You miss them, huh?" Tyler feigned confusion, "What? Who do I miss?" Jenna rolled her eyes. "The Clique, obviously." Tyler smiled sheepishly. "I just hope they stick around."  Jenna sighed. "They will. You give them hope and a way to express themselves. They love you Ty." Tyler nodded, not fully convinced. "Sometimes I wonder if going on hiatus was the right choice," He paused, looking at the love of his life. "I mean-" Jenna put a finger to his lips. "They understand, they want you to rest and be happy. Don't worry about it Tyler." Tyler

Inspired by Sweat

Tyler tore off the cap of the water bottle and drank the ice cold water greedily. He had been working out for two hours he was thirsty, sweaty, and exhausted. To the left of him, Josh sat on the floor pouring water on his head. His shirt now soaked with a mixture of sweat and water.         Tyler looked at Josh's drenched outfit and couldn't help but chuckle. "What'd you do that for, Josh?" Josh shrugged. "It's hot." Tyler, holding back his laughter, sat down next to him and hummed a tune. "Making a new song?" Josh asked curiously. Tyler lifted a shoulder, "Just an idea, I suppose." Josh nodded. "Well, hopefully, it becomes more than that. I can't wait to play another show." "Yeah, me too," Tyler said, his expression serious. Suddenly, Jenna entered the room. Tyler and Josh watched her as she walked over smirking. "Hey boys." "Hey, Jenna." They said toge
