I feel like laughing evilly but idk why hehe. Okay, hopefully, he will be a good character? idk! :( lol okay so, there wee go. Enjoy the story!! I have no idea what I'm writing yet, but it will be good? Haha, I do this to help me, so sorry if it ain't good enough for you. Haters can leave. lol. I'm such a dweeb. If ever I'm famous, someone call me a dweeb, I think I'd love it? Okay, I'm rambling. I know you just want me to get on with the story. Okie, enjoy! Did I already say that? Ugh, nevermind. bye.

Saturday
Gladys checked her phone again. Still no reply. Sure she had just texted him 30 seconds ago, but
she couldn't help but be nervous. She still wasn't sure about his sincerity. She let herself fall back on
her bed and sighed. They had been texting since 6:27am. She was fascinated with his intellect.
Apparently, Brendon is top of his class and also a musician. Gladys figured she should introduce
him to Tyler and Josh, if they didn't already know each other.
Gladys almost fell off her bed when she felt the phone vibrate against her leg. She quickly sat up
and snatched the phone; wishing to read it as fast as possible. (italics is texting btw)
Brendon: Well, Did you wanna meet up and hang out later today? Or whenever you're available?
Gladys grinned stupidly. He wants to hang out?? She bit her lip as she tried to come up with a witty
reply.
Gladys: Yeah, anytime is fine.
Gladys hoped she didn't sound too clingy or needy. She pressed send and watched the phone
patiently for a reply.
A few minutes later, her phone buzzed again.
Brendon: 45 minutes okay?
Gladys' heart almost did a 360. She smiled as she texted:
Gladys: Yes! That'd be perfect!
Now Gladys would just have to be patient. She sighed, it was gonna be a long 45 minutes.
When Brendon finally showed up, 43 minutes later, Gladys was amazed she hadn't died of
boredom. He was dressed in a band shirt and black ripped jeans. Oh Gladys could hardly keep
her eyes away from him. She hadn't remembered the last time she had smiled so much.
They spent the entire day together, watching movies, eating ice cream, and talking.
Gladys couldn't have been happier.
At around 6:45pm, Brendon brought her home. He held her hand as he walked her to her door,
squeezing it gently. Gladys' heart soared. He must like her if he was holding her hand.
They looked at each other when they finally reached the door and Gladys could feel her cheeks
flush.
"Bye, Brendon. thanks for today, it was amazing."
Brendon smiled. "It was. I'll see you around, Gladys."
With that, he walked away. Gladys watched him get in his car and drive away before going inside,
already wanting to text or call him. She knew she was a goner.

Okay...now I'm confused...but doesn't he have anything better to do than to text Gladys? If he really cared about her, he would tell her to get some sleep. Poor girl is probably exhausted. At least she isn't having horrible thoughts and cutting herself though. :) Okay. I think I was a good mix of positive and skeptical.
ReplyDeleteLike I said he said, he wants to help her. And sometimes distractions can be good. especially if she can't sleep because she is depressed/suicidal. I'm trying to make it realistic. I know when I'm depressed I can't sleep either, also distractions are great at those times. I want her to have something good in he life, but I also want an interesting story. Stay tuned, perhaps I'll blog again today. Also, I did tell you to give him a chance, don't be so harsh! Hehe, leave if you gonna hate on my Brendon. Okie? Alright, I'm gonna watch some Dan and Phil Games and be inspired. Highly recommended btw!! ily bye
ReplyDeleteTrying to give Brendon a chance. He seems to be a likeable guy. Hope he is sincere about wanting to help her. I think they are cute together. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww....They are so cute! I hope he actually cares about her and not just using her.
ReplyDeleteYes, I will hopefully blog again today and perhaps you will discover what exactly this relationship is.
ReplyDeleteHaha, to be honest, so will I....I guess I'm one of those writers who just writes whatever they come up with, ya know? It's kinda funny where this story has gone. Definitely not what I had planned. (excuse the song reference #forest) Anyways, glad you enjoyed.
